About
We are building the foundation for the Agentic Business.

Grounded in real manufacturing relationships
Developed through more than a decade of manufacturing quotation experience with Quotation Factory.
HiggX is building the business relationship runtime for the Agentic Business. Business runs on relationships, not applications, and those relationships cross every system, channel, and company boundary that work travels through.
Decades of enterprise software produced powerful local systems and fragmented global coordination. Business has systems of record. What it needs is continuity: the expectations, commitments, evidence, and exceptions that live between those systems rarely survive the gaps.
HiggX began with a simple premise. Relationships are the primary object of business, and applications exist to support them rather than to own them. A relationship connects two or more distinct parties, and it carries the context that gives every interaction operational meaning.
That context is what we call the operational field. The Higgs field is a metaphor here, not proof and not a scientific derivation. In physics, a field helps explain how particles acquire properties. In HiggX, the field gives business interactions context: who participated, what happened, what should happen next, who is accountable, and what evidence proves the outcome.
The second idea behind the name is first-principles thinking. Rather than adding another application to the stack, we asked which concepts business actually runs on, and rebuilt the operating model from those concepts upward.
Manufacturing is our first proving ground. Quotation Factory exposed the problem in concrete form: a defensible quote depends on relationships between customer demand, engineering, suppliers, manufacturing capability, planning, and commercial judgment. HiggX generalizes the operational model beneath that work. Quotation Factory is the first reference application powered by HiggX, not HiggX itself.
The principles stay constant wherever the model is applied. Relationships are first-class. Authority is explicit and bounded. History is attributable and immutable. Expectations are measurable, and a commitment exists only when acceptance or valid governing policy makes it binding. Applications and channels remain replaceable, human and agent actions remain observable, and the Canon comes before any implementation.
Outcomes worth measuring
Book a callshorter quotation lead time from RFQ to quote
more RFQs completed per estimator
improvement in supplier- response timeliness
expectation health watched across every relationship
A metaphor, a method, and a model
The name HiggX borrows a metaphor about context, and the method behind it questions how business software should be built at all.

The Field Metaphor
A field gives every interaction context: who took part, what happened, what should happen next, who is accountable.

First-Principles Thinking
Question inherited assumptions and rebuild the operating model from the concepts business actually runs on.

Relationship-Centric Operations
Events, expectations, and commitments stay connected to the relationship while applications and channels change around them.
The principles behind the relationship runtime
These principles govern the Canon first, then the platform, then every application and agent built on top of it.
History is attributable
An event is an immutable, attributable assertion. What happened stays recorded, with its source, its authority, and its time.
Authority is bounded
People and agents participate through explicit identity and bounded authority. Delegating work never delegates away accountability.
Relationships are first-class
A relationship connects two or more distinct parties. Applications support relationships; they never own them.
Applications are replaceable
Systems and channels change. The relationship, its recorded history, and its open expectations have to outlive them.
Commitments have a basis
An expectation becomes a commitment only when an accountable party accepts it, or valid governing policy makes it binding.
Expectations are measurable
A measurable statement that something should happen can be tracked, tested against evidence, and flagged while there is still time.
Relationship outcomes, demonstrated
"Every requirement change now arrives as an attributable event, so estimating and production work from the same relationship context instead of chasing each other."
